TOOOL sponsors and organizes a number of public education initiatives. In addition to our group meetings, TOOOL participates in lectures and talks at many popular security conventions and conducts hands-on training and practice sessions at many of these events.
At larger happenings like DefCon, ShmooCon, and HOPE, we organize "Lockpick Villages" where attendees are free to learn, play, and socialize for the duration of the whole event. We also facilitate sportpicking competitions at such cons and other public forums.
