This is an all-in-one kit for rekeying Schlage locks.
It will also work for other KIK, mortise, rim, and other, similar standard size locks.
How does this work with non-Schlage locks?
- Chamber diameter must accept 0.115" diameter pins (standard KIK size—not most padlocks)
- If you're recombinating a practice lock (and don't need to use keys), you don't have to worry about pin spec other than diameter—this will work on most "standard" size locks.
Comes with tweezers, follower, c-clip removal tool, cap pin depressing tool, pre-cut keys, approximately 30 key pins (no driver pins), and instructions.
We highly recommend our reverse pinning tweezers for a more enjoyable experience.
