Padlocks with an integrated bible* and some other padlocks can be opened by lifting all of the pin stacks above the shear line.
Opening these locks with a comb pick is extremely fast, dead simple, and very reliable.
Just insert your comb pick, push the pin stacks all the way up, and apply turning pressure.
Integrated bible: the body of the lock acts as the housing (springs and driver pins reside in the body of the lock) rather than using a lock assembly that is inserted into the lock body. Integrated bibles often have much more vertical space—allowing the entire pin stack to be lifted above the shear line.
